Psalm 121 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
The LORD Our Protector
A song of ascents.
1 I raise my eyes toward the mountains.
Where will my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to slip;
your Protector will not slumber.
4 Indeed, the Protector of Israel
does not slumber or sleep.
5 The LORD protects you;
the LORD is a shelter right by your side.
6 The sun will not strike you by day,
or the moon by night.
7 The LORD will protect you from all harm;
He will protect your life.
8 The LORD will protect your coming and going
both now and forever.
Give Praise to God who provides Great Mercy and Grace. (Singing)As I continue my study in the Psalms of the Ascent some wonderful points have come to mind..
Beth mentioned whenever we are planning a long trip what is one of the things that we think to take.. Yep, our CD‘s our songs…… Our music….
I remember that when the children were small, even when they were bigger, the minute they were seated in the car. Major decisions were being made as to what song would be sang … and who would be doing the singing..
And it was the Lord all the time that put songs in our hearts for the journey.
17. The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zeph 3:17
Another thing that was mentioned is that our memorys are so much better in song…………… Than just trying to remember that memory verse……..Hummmm………. How many song lyrics have you got floating around in your head??

Hey momma,
I think this is wonderful. It is very inspirational. I however am finding it hard not to be jealous of the works the Lord is doing through you. I do have to remind myself that it is not a contest, but rather a work we must all do together. He has gifted you greatly in your writings, pictures,your wisdom and knowledge. I know you don’t know exactly where you are going, but as the Lord has reminded you “KEEP WALKING” so Do not be discouraged. Keep going! This blog is proof that you are not going to take things lying down, as I tend to do in great frusteration and defeat. Mom I aspire to be the person that you are, loving our Lord Jesus whole heartedly. I am struggling right now but through this same study, i now know what my sufferings are for, I just wish there was less suffering and more working. He does have his ways of preparing us for the work that lies ahead doesn’t He. Heres to Spontaneous Structure!!! I know that the Lord has spoken these words to you, but will you pray that the Lord will help me to Keep Walking, because right now, I haven’t even got the strength to rise. Oh mommy, I love you so much and I thank God for you daily. If I could quote a verse right now I guess it would be:
Psalms 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
